Daily Schedule
The following is an example of a typical day at Home Away From Home Day Care. On any given day, the schedule may be slightly different from what is shown below. A sampling of the many types of activities we do are listed below.
7:30am-9:00am- Drop-off, breakfast and indoor activities
9:00am-10:00am - Indoor activities
10:00am-11:30am - Indoor or outdoor activities (weather permitting)
11:30am-11:45am - Clean-up and lunch preparation
11:45am-12:30pm - Lunch
12:30pm-1:00pm - Story time
1:00pm-3:00pm - Rest period
3:00-3:30pm - Snack time
3:30pm-5:30pm - Indoor or outdoor activities (weather permitting) until parent pick-up
A variety of toys and activities are available for the children to select from.
Indoor Activities
legos, letter blocks, puppets, books, arts and crafts, circle time, painting, story telling, singing, musical instruments, kitchen center, trains, games, puzzles, pre-reading activities
Outdoor Activities
climbing structures, slides, see-saw, play house, sand box, riding toys, balls, kiddie pool, basketball, picnic table, wagon
The day care is open 7:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday.
